Price drops remained something of a rarity in this issue's Intel chart, with the majority of the prices we track holding right where they've been for weeks. Of the few price drops we saw, the biggest were a $10 drop in the price of the Core 2 Quad Q9400 and a $15 drop in the price of the Core i7 975 Extreme Edition, leaving them at their currently tracked prices of $195 and $985, respectively.
With nothing new making its way onto the charts, these days, it's no surprise that significant price drops remain an exception to the rule in this issue of the Biweekly CPU price guide. And until we see some new product releases from the two camps, that isn't very likely to change.
