Intel Comments

Intel prices held steadier, on average, than their AMD counterparts, with only a few falling at all and only one falling by more than a few dollars. That one, the Core i7 970, fell by $20. But that leaves it at the still relatively high tracked price of $860.

General Comments

Despite the majority of the prices we track continuing to hold steady, a handful of them did fall by enough to make some potential buyers happy. As both camps start ramping up talk of their upcoming product releases, hopefully the coming weeks will see some more downward price movement.
