We see a few small price drops scattered here and there on this week's chart, but it's been a largely unenventful week for Intel processor pricing, with a number price increases drawing more attention than the few price drops we see. And at almost 50% more than its 1.9GHz sibling, the 2GHz P4 remains a hard sell.
Some prices went up, and some down... but for the most part, things remain stagnant in this week's CPU price guide. It's unlikely that anyone's going to see this week's prices and rush out to buy a processor; but there's also no reason to avoid doing so, as prices, overall, are pretty reasonable for the performance you're going to get, particularly for AMD Athlon XP processors. How about Intel and AMD prices on the same page? Here you have it, starting with high-end CPUs.
