Welcome to the Sharky Extreme Weekly CPU Prices. This is a weekly update on CPU prices we find around the net.

We have several different tables to help you find what you are looking for, sorted by manufacturer; (AMD or Intel) sorted by price; tables showing only high-end or low-end CPUs, all to make your research and subsequent buying decision a bit easier. Yes, yes... we know. "Where's the Athlon XP 2600+?" Well, folks, until some more vendors start listing it, it won't show up on the charts. In the meantime, though, the huge drops on the Athlon XP processors over the past two weeks are now being followed up by some more modest ones. With a new kid on the AMD block and a new flagship processor also expected from Intel, though, it might make sense to wait a bit and see if there are any more residual drops before building or upgrading to the Athlon XP system of your dreams.
