Welcome to the Sharky Extreme Weekly CPU Prices. This is a weekly update on CPU prices we find around the net.

We have several different tables to help you find what you are looking for, sorted by manufacturer; (AMD or Intel) sorted by price; tables showing only high-end or low-end CPUs, all to make your research and subsequent buying decision a bit easier. We see a few modest price drops scattered here and there in the AMD processor list, which takes mid-range and high-end Athlon XP prices down to the tune of $6-$11, and has resulted in a sub-$100 Athlon XP 2200+. So those who had already decided to purchase a new Athlon XP processor won't be dissuaded from doing so, but buyers who have been waiting for one more big drop before putting down their money will likely have to keep on waiting.
