Welcome to the Sharky Extreme Weekly CPU Prices. This is a weekly update on CPU prices we find around the net.

We have several different tables to help you find what you are looking for, sorted by manufacturer; (AMD or Intel) sorted by price; tables showing only high-end or low-end CPUs, all to make your research and subsequent buying decision a bit easier. Last week may have been a sedate one for AMD CPUs, but this week is quite a bit better. The Athlon XP price cuts may run as deep as some had hoped, but the introduction of the Athlon XP 3200+ does seem to be working some magic. From the Athlon XP 2500+ on up, prices fell noticeably, with the Athlon XP 3000+ receiving the largest cut. This makes it a pretty good week for AMD upgrades or new CPU purchases, and the Athlon XP 2500+ Barton is nearing the $100 mark.
