Welcome to the Sharky Extreme Weekly CPU Prices. This is a weekly update on CPU prices we find around the net.

We have several different tables to help you find what you are looking for, sorted by manufacturer; (AMD or Intel) sorted by price; tables showing only high-end or low-end CPUs, all to make your research and subsequent buying decision a bit easier. If you've been holding out on buying the 2.2GHz/400 Athlon XP 3200+, you're going to be happy that you waited. Marking the biggest drop of any AMD processor in this week's guide, it fell a whopping $120 to its current price of $315. Other prices fell more modestly, if at all. But those looking to own AMD's flagship processor, the 2.2GHz/1600 Athlon 64 FX-51 should still be pleased to see that its price has been cut by $11 since last week.
