Welcome to the Sharky Extreme Weekly CPU Prices. This is a weekly update on CPU prices we find around the net.

We have several different tables to help you find what you are looking for, sorted by manufacturer; (AMD or Intel) sorted by price; tables showing only high-end or low-end CPUs, all to make your research and subsequent buying decision a bit easier. Also please note that prices change daily, while our guide is only updated weekly; so you will need to get an updated price.

AMD Comments

There are a couple of modest price drops to be found in this week's AMD chart, but they're not as impressive as they might initially seem. A $19 drop in the price of the 2.2Ghz Athlon 64 3400+ looks the most significant, but is less impressive when you take into account the fact that it had gone up by $13 just last week. The $12 cut to the price of the Athlon 64 3700+, furthermore, comes on the heels of a $10 increase a week ago. Although we welcome the lower prices, when you take last week's prices into account, there's really not much to get excited about in the AMD section of the guide.
