Welcome to the Sharky Extreme Weekly CPU Prices. This is a weekly update on CPU prices we find around the net.

We have several different tables to help you find what you are looking for, sorted by manufacturer; (AMD or Intel) sorted by price; tables showing only high-end or low-end CPUs, all to make your research and subsequent buying decision a bit easier. Use our handy "jump to" feature at the bottom of each page to quickly get where you need to go.

Please note that most prices listed were found using PriceWatch and are only for phone orders, requiring that you call the vendors and tell them you found a specific price on PriceWatch or "on Sharky Extreme's Weekly CPU Price Guide, which uses PriceWatch." Also please note that prices change daily, while our guide is only updated weekly; so you will need to get an updated price.

Unfortunately, most of the significant changes in this week's AMD chart lead to price increases, not decreases. Many of the Athlon 64 2800+ to 3400+ models received a double-digit price spike, with the one exception being a $20 cut to the price of the 2.4GHz Athlon 64 3700+. This is nice, but in light of increases on the low-end to mid-range Athlon 64 models, (as high as $32 on the 2.4GHz Athlon 64 3400+), it's unlikely to leave any readers with a positive view of this week's AMD price list.
