Welcome to the Sharky Extreme Weekly CPU Prices. This is a weekly update on CPU prices we find around the net.

We have several different tables to help you find what you are looking for, sorted by manufacturer; (AMD or Intel) sorted by price; tables showing only high-end or low-end CPUs, all to make your research and subsequent buying decision a bit easier. AMD Comments

You may be expecting us to tell you that, yet again, this week's AMD prices are holding steady... right? Wrong! This week's AMD charts actually contain quite a few significant price drops, with some processors dropping by as much as $85. The big winner is the Athlon 64 X2 line, which showed consistently lower prices throughout, and fell by a combined total of almost $300. If we're lucky, this will prove to be the start of a trend and will be followed by more drops in the coming weeks.
