This week's AMD pricing chart seems to be saving the best for last. While the lower-end processors have mostly held steady, we see some pretty noteworthy price drops on the higher-end Athlon XP and MP processors. The $54 drop on the price of the 1.6GHz Athlon MP 1900+ was certainly the biggest drops. But some of the most welcome drops for our typical readers will include a $40 drop on their flagship 1.73GHz Athlon XP 2100+, which debuted last week, a $19 drop that puts the 1.67GHz Athlon XP 2000+ to under $200 ($196, to be exact) and a $20 drop that leaves the 1.6Ghz Athlon XP 1900+ under the $150-mark at its current price at $142.
