March 2004 Video Card Price Guide - Page 3By SharkyExtreme.com Staff March 31, 2004We designate the entry-level market as video cards that have a street price of under-$100. These cards are targeted at value-system buyers, and we usually don't find the high-performance hardware at this price range. Of course, that doesn't mean that gaming performance or features have to suffer, and only having a C-Note in your pocket is no reason to start looking in the bargain bins. The price cuts naturally didn't hit the entry-level as hard as the more expensive cards, but we've still got a few very nice deals. This includes the ATI Radeon 9600 128-MB OEM, which checks in at a very attractive $95 price tag. The more budget-minded buyers should look to the lower-clocked Radeon 9600SE models, as the OEM versions are an incredible value at under $70.
