The NVIDIA-based video card market is a bit more splintered than the ATI one, and we still have the GeForce FX and GeForce4 cards available at street level, and really competing at the entry-level and mainstream sectors. Naturally, the GeForce FX line receives a greater number of listings, and especially as we move to the very popular GeForce FX 5700 Ultra and 5900/5950 Ultra levels. NVIDIA gets the same overall coverage as the ATI list, starting at the GeForce4 MX440-8X and ending with the GeForce FX 5950 Ultra 256-MB cards. But just like ATI, there are some NVIDIA cards that are becoming increasingly hard to locate, and we've adjusted our list accordingly.
The NVIDIA side is a bit less hectic than the ATI list, and we're seeing more price spikes than cuts. Some of the GeForce4-based cards are getting tougher to locate, and by virtue of lower supply, we're finding prices rising. GeForce FX 5900 and 5900 Ultra cards also jumped in price, while the GeForce FX 5950 Ultra selection was more stable. There were also a few price cuts here and there, but overall NVIDIA prices rose far more than they dropped.
