April Video Card Price Guide - Page 3By SharkyExtreme.com Staff April 30, 2004We designate the entry-level market as video cards that have a street price of under-$100. These cards are targeted at value-system buyers, and we usually don't find the high-performance hardware at this price range. Of course, that doesn't mean that gaming performance or features have to suffer, and only having a C-Note in your pocket is no reason to start looking in the bargain bins. The entry-level video card selection remained pretty stable this month, with the big cut hitting the ATI Radeon 9000 Pro 64MB OEM. As we move higher on the list to the Radeon 9600 and GeForce FX 5500 cards, the price decreases slow down considerably. Budget-minded buyers should check out the lower-clocked Radeon 9600SE models, as these are a steal at $67 for the OEM.
