ATI and NVIDIA Video Cards: Price Changes

The following chart takes all of the tracked ATI and NVIDIA cards, and incorporates these into one monster price list, that is then sorted by the monthly price change. This gives us a slightly different view than in previous ATI and NVIDIA lists, as it identifies the month's biggest movers and shakers, and can really help identify the areas to take advantage of. When used with the other price charts, this list can add another dimension to the monthly video card prices, but keep in mind that the largest cuts may not translate into the best overall deal.

This overall list confirms what the previous charts have been highlighting, and we see the AOpen GeForce 6800GT rising to the top, while the GeForce FX 5950 Ultra, ATI X600 XT/Pro PCI Express, GeForce FX 5200 Ultra 128MB, and Radeon 9800XT 256MB cards round out the top contenders. These top "movers and shakers" encompass the entry-level, mainstream, and high-end markets, thereby giving a potential edge for all possible budget and performance requirements.
