The following chart takes all of the tracked ATI and NVIDIA cards, and incorporates it into one monster price list, that is then sorted by the monthly price change. This gives us a slightly different view than in previous ATI and NVIDIA lists, as it identifies the month's biggest movers and shakers, and can really help identify the areas to take advantage of. When used with the other price charts, this list can add another dimension to the monthly video card prices, but keep in mind that the largest cuts may not translate into the best overall deal. The overall price change list confirms our findings in the individual charts and commentary, and we see a few of the highlighted cards featured prominently in the "movers and shakers" area. Last month it was the ATI Radeon X800 XT 256MB cards showing the largest price cuts, but now the GeForce 6800 GT and Ultra cards are making up the gap. The cuts to PCI Express models has also slowed down from November, and as we continue to see more AMD and Intel PCIe platforms enter the market, look for these to equalize even more through 2005.
