ATI and NVIDIA Video Cards: Price Changes

The following chart takes all of the tracked ATI and NVIDIA cards, and incorporates it into one monster price list, that is then sorted by the monthly price change. This gives us a slightly different view than in previous ATI and NVIDIA lists, as it identifies the month's biggest movers and shakers, and can really help identify the areas to take advantage of. When used with the other price charts, this list can add another dimension to the monthly video card prices, but keep in mind that the largest cuts may not translate into the best overall deal.

The overall price change list confirms our findings in the individual charts and commentary, and we see a few of the highlighted cards featured prominently in the "movers and shakers" area. Last month had all the last-gen ATI Radeon 9500, 9700, and 9800-based cards holding down the top spots, but now that we're in May, things have gone back to normal. The more expensive, high-end cards rule the roost, and Radeon X800 and X850-based boards are mixed throughout the top of the list, as are a few GeForce 6800 Ultra and 6800GT products.
