ATI and NVIDIA Video Cards: Full List

The following chart takes all of the tracked ATI and NVIDIA cards, and incorporates it into one monster chart, that is then sorted by retail price. It's a very extensive list, which gives you all the pertinent price data, and all in one place. This is also a great way to view the data, and determine exactly where the cards stack up to each other, along with rating your budget against the gamut of available options. Video card price sorting was done previously in the high-end/mainstream/entry-level price lists, but we couldn't resist posting the entire video card selection, from top to bottom.

The overall price chart gives another view of the video card market, and while we don't see anything new in terms of pricing or value, it does make the individual "value points" much more obvious. The entry-level market can be separated by the card interfaces, with the AGP Radeon 9600SE 128MB (value) and Radeon 9600XT 128MB (performance) offering a lot of bang for the buck. For PCIe buyers, the NVIDIA GeForce PCX 5750 is the value option, while the ATI X600 XT has now dropped below the $100 mark and provides excellent entry-level performance for the PCI Express market.

The mainstream video card market continues to be dominated by the GeForce 6600GT PCI Express and AGP cards, which offer a killer price-performance ratio. Buyers looking for a bit more performance are also well served, and the ATI Radeon X800 128MB and GeForce 6800 128MB cards provide a bit more punch. For the high-end buyer, the ATI All-in-Wonder Radeon X800 XT 256MB is a good deal, and is it features a ton of multimedia extras, yet is priced on par with some standard Radeon X800 XT 256MB cards. The GeForce 6800GT 256MB continues to be the top overall price-performance leader for NVIDIA buyers, especially for SLI use, although the ultra high-end crowd may be gravitating towards the GeForce 7800 GTX 256MB.
