ATI and NVIDIA Video Cards: Full List

The following chart takes all of the tracked ATI and NVIDIA cards, and incorporates it into one monster chart, that is then sorted by retail price. It's a very extensive list, which gives you all the pertinent price data, and all in one place. This is also a great way to view the data, and determine exactly where the cards stack up to each other, along with rating your budget against the gamut of available options. Video card price sorting was done previously in the high-end/mainstream/entry-level price lists, but we couldn't resist posting the entire video card selection, from top to bottom.

The overall price chart gives another view of the video card market, and while we don't see anything new in terms of pricing or value, it does make the individual "value points" much more obvious. The entry-level market for AGP cards is where the Radeon 9600-based models do well, with the Radeon 9600SE 128MB providing excellent value, and the Radeon 9600XT 128MB offering a nice performance punch. The PCI Express selection is equal to the task, as the ATI X600 Pro 128MB and GeForce 6600 128MB cards are both great bets for entry-level gaming systems.

The GeForce 6600GT PCI Express and AGP cards continue to offer the highest mainstream value, although the ATI Radeon X800 AGP and Radeon X800 GTO PCI Express cards are a viable alternative. Our top pick for the high-end remains the ATI All-in-Wonder Radeon X800 XT 256MB AGP and Radeon X800 XL 256MB PCI Express cards, which not only feature a ton of multimedia extras and TV-tuner, but are priced equivalent to many basic X800 XT 256-MB AGP and PCIe boards. As for enthusiast gamers, the GeForce 7800 GT and GTX 256MB cards are really the only show in town, and there is nothing else that can offer the same price-performance ratio.
