ATI and NVIDIA Video Cards: Full List

The following chart takes all of the tracked ATI and NVIDIA cards, and incorporates it into one monster chart, that is then sorted by retail price. It's a very extensive list, which gives you all the pertinent price data, and all in one place. This is also a great way to view the data, and determine exactly where the cards stack up to each other, along with rating your budget against the gamut of available options. Video card price sorting was done previously in the high-end/mainstream/entry-level price lists, but we couldn't resist posting the entire video card selection, from top to bottom.

The overall price chart gives another view of the video card market, and while we don't see anything new in terms of pricing or value, it does make the individual "value points" much more obvious. The entry-level market for AGP cards is where the Radeon 9600-based models continue to do well, with the Radeon 9600SE 128MB providing exceptional value, while the Radeon 9600XT 128MB is in a higher performance class. The PCI Express options are also very impressive, with the GeForce 6600 and Radeon X600 128MB cards offering best-in-class entry-level gaming performance.

The GeForce 6600GT PCI Express and AGP cards are still the best mainstream value, but the ATI Radeon X800 256MB AGP and Radeon X800 Pro PCI Express cards are an excellent performance alternative. A great pick for the high-end remains the ATI All-in-Wonder Radeon X800 XT 256MB AGP and Radeon X800 XL 256MB PCI Express cards, which not only feature a ton of multimedia extras and TV-tuner, but are priced equivalent to many basic X800 XT 256-MB AGP and PCIe boards. Enthusiast gamers have a bit more choice now that ATI has introduced the Radeon X1800 line, but the well-priced GeForce 7800 GT and GTX 256MB cards are still the best show in town.
