ATI and NVIDIA Video Cards: Full List

The following chart takes all of the tracked ATI and NVIDIA cards, and incorporates it into one monster chart, that is then sorted by retail price. It's a very extensive list, which gives you all the pertinent price data, and all in one place. This is also a great way to view the data, and determine exactly where the cards stack up to each other, along with rating your budget against the gamut of available options. Video card price sorting was done previously in the high-end/mainstream/entry-level price lists, but we couldn't resist posting the entire video card selection, from top to bottom.

The overall price chart gives another view of the video card market, and while we don't see anything new in terms of pricing or value, it does make the individual "value points" much more obvious. The entry-level market for AGP cards is where the Radeon 9600-based models continue to do well, with the Radeon 9600XT 128MB offering a nice mix of price and performance. The PCI Express options are a bit wider at this range, and both the GeForce 6600 128MB and Radeon X600 XT 128MB cards offering best-in-class entry-level gaming performance.

The GeForce 6600GT PCI Express and AGP cards still provide the best mainstream value, but the entry of the various ATI and NVIDIA mainstream products has really muddied the waters at the upper-end of the scale. Even so, the Radeon X800 GTO 256MB is a great bet, as is the GeForce 6800 256MB. The All-in-Wonder Radeon X800 XT 256MB remains a super value for AGP buyers, while the GeForce 6800 GS 256MB does the same for PCI Express buyers. At the enthusiast level, ATI does have the Radeon X1800 XT, but the powerful GeForce 7800 GT and GTX 256MB cards sport lower prices and higher value rankings.
