It seems that for the past couple of years the CPU cooler market has been flooded with products. Every hardcore computer store is now selling tons of high performance customized heatsinks and computer cooling products, far more than they were selling just a few years ago before overclocking was common. OCZ Technology is one of the newer kids on the block, offering their own line of high performance heatsinks.
While there are many different technologies that heatsinks can be based on, the newest craze in has been in the use of Skived or Microfin heatsinks. Both offer much better performance than most extruded heatsinks, and they do not cost much more to produce. The two coolers we are looking at today use Microfin technology.
