One thing that impressed us about the KA7 was its tweakability. FSB and memory speed settings were adjustable in 1MHz increments. In addition to memory timing, you can adjust CPU bus timing through CPU Pull Strength and CPU Drive Strength settings. And every little bit of AGP is laid open to tweaking as well, not just AGP Aperture size. Through BIOS tweaking, you should be able to increase your performance significantly.
Another added feature with the KA7 is an included diagnostic LED. Designed to be mounted in one of the empty slot panels in the back of your case, the LED gives you codes for errors if there are any. ABIT may be bundling this diagnostic tool with most, if not all, future ABIT motherboards.
Overall, the KA7 looks like a winner for overclockers. You can bet we're itching to get our hands on a final board to test. We would like to thank the kind people at ABIT who let us use their equipment and test the KA7.
That's all folks!
