Our OpenGL testing starts with two rounds of Quake III Arena benchmarks, stressing different aspects of system performance. Following tradition, we have tested under Normal and Maximum Quality settings. We decided to test using our value systems this time since you would most likely see the SDR RADEON on a high-end Celeron or Duron system as opposed to a GHz powerhouse.
Desktop color depth is 16-bit; V-sync is turned off on all tests, and scores reflect performance with sound on.
The RADEON doesn't stand much of a chance here - as we've seen before, the 16-bit performance lags somewhat.
