Note that in most cases, turning on the display cache netted some performance benefit, while doubling memory not only increased overall performance of the platform, but was instrumental in enabling the benchmark to run. For 3D games, note that performance drops as resolution increases. This reflects the additional work required to deliver more detail to the screen.

The "DC 100" versions of the benchmark results are for 810 mainboards that will include an optional 4MB of PC-100 SDRAM specifically for use as a Display Cache (versus standard 810 boards that will offer no dedicated video ram)

Either way no one is going to confuse an 810 mainboard's video benchmark results for a standard TNT's or Voodoo2's as the numbers are subpar compared to the recorded results we've seen from over 30 video accelerators during the past year.

The 810 is intended for the tight-budget PC, sub $600 in some cases, and the benchmark results do fulfill that role adequately in our minds.
