  • The following is a detailed breakdown of the systems Intel is planning for each segment of their mobile market. The Mobile Products Roadmap is broken down into seven market segments. The Mini Notebook Roadmap is broken down into two market segments.

    Price Range: >$3000
    CPU (all Mobile Pentium III): Bus Speed; Motherboard Chipset by Quarter:

    • Q1 2000:650MHz w/100MHz FSB and 440BX chipset
    • Q2 2000:700MHz w/100MHz FSB and 440BX chipset (targeted for April)
    • Q3 2000:750MHz w/100MHz FSB and 440BX chipset (targeted for June)
    • Q4 2000:850MHz w/100MHz FSB and 440BX chipset
      Solano2-M Introduction
    • Q1 2001:9xxMHz w/100MHz FSB and 440BX or Solano2-M chipset

    All of these Mobile Pentium IIIs support Intel's SpeedStep. Any Mobile Pentium III 600MHz or faster will support SpeedStep. Solano2-M might support a 133MHz FSB with the unspecified 9xxMHz Pentium III.

    Price Range: $2500-$3000

    • Q1 2000:600/650MHz w/100MHz FSB and 440BX
    • Q2 2000:650/700MHz w/100MHz FSB and 440BX
