By now you're likely wondering what comes with the Diamond Fusion, and how much it's gonna cost you....

The answers are as follows:

Software Bundle: Unreal and Motocross Madness
Price: $149

Not bad, not bad at all. The price is a little heavy, but remember this is the fastest Banshee card available. An extra $20 probably won't make someone choose a rival's product if they know why the price difference on the Fusion is justified. As far as the bundle goes, Unreal is a sharp product, Motocross Madness is relatively new, and dammnit they're better than the barf-bag bundle of Forsaken and Incoming.

If I ever see Forsaken in a bundle again it'll be too soon.....

Ok I'm back from my Mike Tyson-Nevada State Boxing Commission rant, and ready to eval the Fusion against its competition.

We highly recommend the Fusion to anyone that needs an immediate 2D/3D video card upgrade, with the intent of playing games that are nearing release. Titles like Grim Fandango, Tomb Raider III, SiN, Half-Life, SHOGO and others will all exceed 30 frames per second at an 800 x 600 x 16 resolution on just about any Pentium 2 or K6-2 CPU with the Fusion. The 2D performance is strong as well, and is also highly recommended to those desiring good quality desktop visual clarity and resolution modes.

If you get the feeling that we grew quite attached to the Fusion, you'd be correct. It's the most impressive performing Banshee we've seen, and will probably remain so well into early 1999.
