The first thing that a user experiences as they pick up the Rio for the first time is its small physical size.

It's about the overall size of a deck of playing cards, and at 2.4 ounces the unit weighs less than two golf balls. Even with the single AA battery installed in the unit the total weight is negligible, it feels much like a hollow demo unit compared to the typical weight of a compact audio playing device.
