Back in November of 2000, we gave you a look at CDI's Alaska "Cool-Case." It was fashionable for its time, provided excellent cooling capacity, and offered lots of room for upgrades.
Times change, fashion changes, and so should the look of your case.
While we are not going to parade down a catwalk, we are going to take a look at what CDI has to offer for 2001. Named the Inwin Alaska, CDI's latest offering starts with a completely customizable exterior, continues with the inclusion of Panaflow's 120mm cooling fans, and ends with a Baybus, for the ultimate in fan RPM control.

CDI offers several choices for exterior design. At the most basic level, you can opt for the color of your choice. A marbleized look is also available, again, in the color of your choosing. High-end exterior design jobs include custom airbrushing designs, starting at $100. Some of the samples CDI has posted on their web page are utterly breathtaking, as was the Sharky Extreme logo applied to the side of our review sample. It would be safe to say that if your creativity can devise it, CDI can apply it to the side of your next case.
On the left side of the case is a Plexiglas window, offering a full view of the computer's innards. A trim covers the edge of the window, providing an aesthetic transition to the side of the case.
