  • MDK2 tests OpenGL performance. For our testing purposes we've turned T&L acceleration off and maximized all other quality settings.

MDK2 clearly loves clock speed, as it rockets ahead with the Athlon 1.2GHz.

Overall, the Athlon Thunderbird 1.2GHz manages to best every other consumer processor out there by sheer brute force. It just out clocks the competition to gain the pole position. Now, after major price drops, its also far less expensive than the Pentium 1GHz. More speed for less money makes us very happy and the Athlon 1.2GHz delivers.
