3DMark 2000 includes a separate CPU benchmark that isolates the CPU and tests using MMX, SSE and 3DNow! Enhancements, as well as T&L for supported 3D cards. The pure CPU scores demonstrate the potential benefit of the Celeron 600 SSE support, while T&L scores tend to correlate to the overall system bus speed rather than overall CPU core speed or enhanced L2 cache.
