Games have historically been very sensitive to L2 cache speed rather than size, so the brief game scenes from WinBench 2000 run on a "null" software renderer makes for a good benchmark of internal processing.

Like clockwork, the Duron 800 scales almost perfectly to what we'd estimate given the 700 and 750MHz scores. Intel's high-end value processor is easily beaten - something that likely will not change until Intel moves to a 100MHz system bus for the Celeron line.
