Just in case you wanted to check our numbers against some of the other sites that run Quake III with sound OFF, here is our little comparison graph:

Obviously not all of you play Quake III Arena - there are other games out there apparently. One of the newest and most popular games to be released over the past couple of months has been Bioware's MDK2, which not only runs in OpenGL but has a useful timedemo benchmark for the likes of us.

The 1.13GHz Pentium III scores well at 119fps and obviously beats the 111fps of the 1GHz but it still falls a little short of our expected 10% performance increase.
