Perhaps Chaintech’s biggest claim to fame with the 6OJV is their 3BIOS system. Instead of utilizing a master/slave twin BIOS system, Chaintech uses two independent BIOS chips to eliminate any wait period should one BIOS image be corrupted. In addition, the BIOS flash utility is embedded, to prevent the usage of incompatible third party applications. Since our attempts at corrupting the BIOS chips failed, we have to assume Chaintech’s 3BIOS system is pretty effective.
