Gigabyte has sent us their GA-7DX, an AMD 761-based motherboard powerhouse featuring AGP 4x, 5 PCI slots, 2 DIMM slots, 4-channel audio, and, of course DDR SDRAM support.
As we mentioned, the GA-7DX uses AMD's 761 northbridge to supply DDR and 200/266MHz FSB support. The 761 is the northbridge half of AMD's 760 chipset. Gigabyte is also making a version of the GA-7DX that only supports the 200MHz FSB and not 266MHz. Gigabyte has shipped these boards to both retail and OEM channels in small quantities. When buying a DDR board or system, you should make sure that you're getting a 266MHz FSB-capable board.
