  • Used to interface with the Video-In of the V6800 Deluxe, ASUS' Live Utility allows users to view images on your monitor using a videocassette player, camcorder, digital camera or laser disk player. With at least a Pentium II 266, you can also capture 30 frames/sec of live motion video.

Like the V6600 before it, the V6800 Deluxe also includes the VideoSecurity feature. Designed to monitor a desk or workstation, VideoSecurity will have a limited use for most users, but the option to protect a computer system from a potential thief or nosey little brother is certainly welcome when the situation presents itself.

To round off a great utility package, ASUS has graciously designed their own tweak utility, allowing clock speeds of up to 150/380MHz. It's doubtful anyone will be able to reach this lofty frequency, so the application should make tweaking your card for maximum performance fairly simple. Either way, end users do have the necessary tools for that 'out of the box overclocking experience'.

ASUS has also opted to include Drakan, Rollcage and a demo CD. Although not the most popular games in the industry, you will surly be entertained if you aren't already playing something like Quake III: Arena.
