A few immediate conclusions can be drawn from the charts. First off, we can see that in order to get top-notch performance from the Fury MAXX you'll want a high-end system to back it up. ATi isn't looking to extend the life of any Celeron systems here.
Where the card really shines is high resolution (1280 and up) and 32 bits. This is where ATi sees the future of gaming and they have designed their card accordingly. With the twin processors and large amount of memory, the performance in high resolution almost matches that of the DDR GeForce card. Considering the absence of T&L on the MAXX, it is impressive that is can so effectively stand up to the GeForce, beating the SDR cards in high resolution (32 bit).
