For the most part, ATI has taken a minimalist approach to the software package for the RADEON. Although there are no playable demos, ATI does include RADEON's Ark, a showcase of the features that the GPU is capable of accelerating.
In addition, the software CD includes ATI's multimedia center with controls for Video In, DVD, Video CD, CD Audio, and the File Player. The DVD player is based on the Ravisent engine and takes advantage of motion compensation, iDCT, and adaptive de-interlacing - all video features of the RADEON.
