Although new exotic cars usually maintain a firm hold on automotive performance magazine covers each month it's a statistical fact that the Honda Accord, Toyota Camry and Ford Taurus outsell the zoomy speedsters by 1000 to 1 every year.

Similarly, online PC hardware publications tend to devote most of their time to the high-octane performance oriented products available on the market while the price/performance intended parts usually sell many more units each year without as much fanfare.

Today Sharky Extreme is looking at one of the true "family sedans" within the video card market segment. (Sharky would call it a family "saloon" because he, like the other Spice Girls, is British…)

Powered by the economical and "peppy" S3 Savage4 accelerator, (peppy = a car's power as described by your Mom) the Diamond Stealth III S540 is priced within almost any PC owner's economic grasp.

But does it handle a quarter mile E.T. or a fast track lap as well as the true Ferraris of the video card market do? Let's find out.
