The 3D Prophet II GTS Pro is a very fast card but is not the fastest there is. Unfortunately, it costs almost as much as the fastest and doesn't provide the right bang for the buck. If you can settle for more than enough, a ~$225 GeForce2 GTS will make you very happy. If you can only settle for the best, then at $500, only the GeForce2 Ultra will do. The 3D Prophet II GTS Pro is somewhere in between, and we think most people will want to look elsewhere.
