Sharky Extreme :

Test System
Pentium III 500
Gigabyte GA-BX2000 440BX mainboard
128MB of PC100 CAS-2 memory
Tekram DC390U2W SCSI card
IBM DGVS09U 9GB UW SCSI hard drive
SoundBlaster AWE 64 sound card
Intel InBusiness 10/100 Network Adapter

A Gigabyte GA660 TNT2 core clocked to 125MHz with 32MB of SDRAM clocked to 150MHz was used for comparison.

To get each score Quake 2 demo1.dm2 was run until a consistent score was achieved (usually four times). V-sync was disabled.

The Marvel with TurboGL beats by a small margin our comparison Gigabyte GA660 TNT2 across the board in Quake 2 demo1.dm2. When comparing the old OpenGL ICD to the TurboGL ICD beta, the gains are significant at 800x600, marginal at 1024x768, but performance actually drops slightly at 1600x1200 by .2 FPS. Still, beating a TNT2 in Quake 2 is no mean feat and the Marvel manages it.
