Conclusion
It's not hard to find a GeForce 3 Ti 500. There are numerous manufacturers that make them and they all follow NVIDIA's reference design. If all you are looking for is a Ti 500 card, there are cheaper solutions than the MSI Pro-VTG, and they will perform just as well.
What makes the MSI board stand out so distinctly is the amount of attention the company has paid to providing a uniformly excellent product. Every component from the 3D glasses to the board itself is well-made. The included software package is excellent, the card's own multimedia capabilities are numerous and flexible, and the included documentation is markedly better than what is typically provided by a manufacturer.
The MSI Pro-VTG is not cheap, but it offers greater multimedia capability than your standard Ti 500. If you're a hard-core gamer with an interest in video editing, but who isn't willing to sacrifice an ounce of speed (or a gamer that doesn't require the power of ATI's more expensive A-I-W) than the Pro-VTG may be the perfect solution for you-especially seeing as its backed by a company who has consistently demonstrated a genuine concern for the quality of their product by going the extra steps to provide a first-rate solution. In the end, this card has no weak spots, save a slightly expensive price ($339 on Pricewatch). In every other way, this card excels.
